A few years ago we had the idea of proposing to Logoi magazine the publication of an issue that would report on the studies of ancient philosophy carried out in our country. We thought, as we continue to think now, that it would be useful to show the work of those who here dedicate themselves to this discipline, somewhere between philology and philosophy, and who in Venezuela have had teachers of the stature of Juan David García Bacca, Miroslav Marcovich, Guillermo Thiele, Ángel Cappelletti, Blas Bruni Celli or Francisco Bravo
