The present article analyzes the relation between society and power in Simón Rodríguez's political and social philosophy. Consequently, his vision discusses the problem of the origin of the society and of the aptitude of compromising the man. Likewise, the issues are approached on the paper (role) that plays the power in the construction or destruction of the republican society, the tension of the individual interests with the collective interests, and, finally, the politics as a game of power and as the science of the administration of the social thing.
