Abstract

This paper presents some heuristics procedures exposed by the mathematician George Polya, applied to the formal system MIU presented by Hofstadter in his book Gödel, Escher, Bach: An eternal Golden Braid. As a result of the application of these heuristics, procedures raise the models of system MIU that are presented in this paper.
