This paper discusses the role of the semiotic system of representation in symbolic logic teaching. It suggests the need to take into account the epistemological changes that occur when passing from the ordinary language system to the symbolic logic system. It also addresses as a topic for analysis the explanation of the conditional and perplexity of the students when learning the truth table of this logical operator.
