Abstract

This article aims to examinate the reading of Levinasian responsibility proposed by Claude Romano. I consider that it is possible to complete the rigorous analysis of it if a certain overlap is noted between the ontological-phenomenological dimension and the practical dimension in the constitution of subjectivity.

Lawyer and graduate in philosophy from the UBA. He has a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne and the UBA. He completed his postdoctoral studies at the UBA. He is a CONICET researcher. He is a professor at the UBA and the University of Salvador. He is the director of the subsection "Event Phenomenology" of the Center for Philosophical Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Buenos Aires. He is the director of the collection of Phenomenology and Hermeneutics "Post-Vision" of the SB publishing house. He has published numerous books, articles, book chapters and translations in his areas of expertise.
