With the emergence of the capitalist world, the system began a new universal geographic and economic articulation. Those who undertook the journeys of the American conquest did not do it the same way as had been done before. The significance of these new journeys was the sequels they left. Under the presence of colonists, certain ideas and representations about the object of colonization were forged, so the configuration of the resulting system was attached to occidental values. As time passed, the submitted territories have been elaborating some perceptions about the colonizer, only that they are silenced due to modern scientific conditioning.
