Abstract

"Favoritism and Legalism", a book written by Jesús Muñoz Tébar, a notable proman of the XIX century liberalism, reflects the preoccupation of an era to begin to decipher the origins of the autocratic "caudillismo" flagellum that has defined the social and political facts, not only of Venezuela but of the rest of the Latin American Nations.
