Abstract

In Plato's Philebus there is a distinction between real and false pleasures. Plato calls false pleasure those that come from false stimuli and real those that come from real stimuli. The movie Matrix makes a distinction very close to this one and we as in this paper: Are pleasures that come from false stimuli false?
