Becoming, a philosophical theme, par excellence, with multiple interpretations, is approached by Xavier Zubiri in a novel way and in the correct philosophical-scientific proportion. In this article we review the notion of becoming from ancient to current philosophy, particularly in the context of processual philosophies and from the point of view of the dynamic conception of reality that Zubiri develops
