This paper is a critique of what has been traditionally understood, from Mannheim's elaboration to the present day, as the Sociology of Knowledge. Based on recent contributions made by critical feminist theorists, the author attempts to sketch what would a Sociology of Knowledge would be like if it were based on the complex relations between the body and the concrete space in which knowledge is produced.
