After a journey through the utopias of the Renaissance, the Jesuit missions in Paraguay and nineteenth-century socialism,
the author concludes that Simón Rodríguez (1769-1854) cannot be included in the most prominent political utopias. He then goes on to
delve into the notion of the common good and the republicanism of the eighteenth century to arrive at a popular philosophy. He
points out that the philosopher is the human ideal for the Caracas master. Analyze its main characteristics and define 'philosophy'. From
here he clarifies his thesis of what may be the utopia of Simón Rodríguez.
