Communication, talk, social interactionAbstract
Our field is social interaction, i.e.; relations of coordination, control, coercion, and communication among living organisms. Such interaction allows mutual exploitation of information. The first part of this essay consists of an analysis of the elementary forms of communication. The second part is about the most sophisticated and complex forms of human interactions. The general purpose of this analysis is to do some dirty work in this ragbag that is communication, seeking to regulate certain misleading uses of terms like “communicate”, “say”, and “talk”.
