Abstract

In this work, we will try to define and contrast the concepts of belief, certainty, and knowledge from a Wittgensteinian perspective. Then we will insert and explain the notions of grammar and (logical) space, from there we will distinguish different grades and contexts of certainty, different grades and contexts of knowing, and in consequence, different contexts of “justification”. Finally, we pretend to show, as a conclusion, that the epistemological implications of the Wittgensteinian notion of grammar not only go further in linguistic analysis but also can be considered as the description of constitutive elements of different worldviews.
