This research work was based on the exploration of expectations and needs that the students of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello campus Guayana have about different aspects related to college life and their integral development as professionals. The study arose from the concern of the authorities about the offer of services of the University and the lack of use that students give to these services; therefore it was requested to undertake a research project that would provide possible options for lines of action. For the project, two objectives were proposed: the construction of the instrument that would allow the measurement of expectations and needs of the students, and analyze them during the beginning, continuation, and graduation as stages of academic achievement at the University. The methodology used was of type descriptive, by means of the survey technique for data collection, and as an instrument a questionnaire was elaborated following the procedures corresponding to the elaboration of scales. Regarding the results of the first objective, the instrument was developed, validated by professionals and students, which made it possible to measure the expectations and needs of the UCAB Guayana students, and with respect to the analysis of these expectations and needs, it was evidenced what the students of the campus expect from the University, from its academic offer to its services, and from their own course in university life, as well as the level of importance of their needs within the course through the University.
