Abstract

Neuroscience, as a scientific discipline, has experienced remarkable growth in recent decades, driven by technological advancements and the digital age. This article explores the state of the art in neuroscience in the digitized era, analyzing how new technologies have transformed our understanding of the brain and its functioning. In this exploratory research, we examine how neuroscience has adopted interdisciplinary approaches that harness artificial intelligence, neurotechnology, and big data collection. Advanced brain imaging techniques, such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG), are described, enabling the revelation of brain processes with an unprecedented level of detail. Furthermore, developments in cognitive neuroscience, neuromarketing, and neuroeducation are analyzed, highlighting their influence in various domains, from decision-making to education. The role of ethics in this new era of neuroscience is also addressed, considering the implications of privacy and data security in a digitized world. Additionally, we discuss how digital neuroscience has led to advancements in healthcare, therapy, and brain-computer interfaces.
