Abstract

Research as a key process in professional training provides the opportunity to critically reflect on the different roles that are exercised in the university space in relation to this process. The case of being a tutor, being a novice researcher as a professional in training, and being a member of the jury evaluator, are three of the common roles that we have shared as professors at the university. Each lived experience gives us an edge to reflect on and therefore, as a research team in different gatherings we proposed to develop within the framework of the celebration of the VIII Conference of Research in Educational Sciences Conversatory: The backstage of the Degree Project: testimonies and reflections. The narrations of the experiences, allow to unveil the learning processes and the opportunities to explore from the look of the other, a way to inspire young researchers to live the research process to the fullest, as a strategy to activate creativity to avoid the All but Thesis. Sharing experiences of tutoring, 2. Strengthening academic research: the role of the student and 3. On the jury evaluator and rethinking the degree work in post-pandemic time.
