Abstract

The School of Social Sciences of the Andrés Bello Catholic University proposed to hold a meeting with the unions of the region in order to know the perspectives of union-company relations.
The panel was made up of: the Vice Chancellor of the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) Guayana Extension, Dr. Arturo Peraza. He also accompanied online Dr. Héctor Lucena, Licdo. in Industrial Relations. PhD University of Glasgow. Retired Professor of Labor Relations at the University of Carabobo. Researcher on Labor Relations and permanent collaborator of the school. For the School of Social Sciences, Licda. in Industrial Relations Yelitza Briceño, professor of the Managerial Union Relations Chair. Participating for the unions were: Mr. Rubén González, Former General Secretary of the Union of Workers of the Orinoco Ferrominera Company. (SINTRAFERROMINERA) and Mr. Estilito García, Former General Secretary of the Union of Workers of the VENALUM Company; the Licda. in Industrial Relations Zurimar Gutiérrez was the moderator.
