Social networks are currently considered a new way to obtain invaluable data due to the Pandemic. We can interact and obtain information in virtual form much faster and in real time. The research is of a relational, prospective, analytical and field type, it was based on taking a sample of 67 people who had cell phones, 9 students from UCAB and 58 people from Ciudad Guayana, this was carried out via questionnaire by WhatsApp, of the which responded 100%. The purpose of the investigation was to observe if there was a predilection within the family group, with the premise that some family member was infected by COVID-19. For this, the research was supported in the ociometry as a work tool to evaluate the acceptance or rejection as an efficient study element for interaction groups. The results did not report a predilection for any particular member of the families studied.
