Abstract

The ISO 30401: 2018 and ISO 9001: 2015 Standards, which dictate the requirements for the establishment of a Knowledge Management System and Quality Management Systems, are interrelated and complement each other so that organizations can adapt their processes to respond to the requirements of customers and the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous market VICA, in which they operate and make the appropriate decisions that respond quickly to changes, since by transforming information (process data, customer satisfaction surveys, audit reports and management system review reports, lessons learned, etc.) in knowledge, the processes that add value to the products and / or services provided by organizations can be continuously improved. In the following research of the documentary type, it is exposed how the requirements of the referred standards are related and how the commitment, competence and training of people play a fundamental role in the creation of knowledge and improvement of the quality of products and / or services of organizations, knowing these standards can be a significant contribution to those organizations that seek to maintain their sustained success based on knowledge and quality.
