Guayana Moderna Journal is a multidisciplinary scientific and academic publication, aimed primarily at researchers in local and sustainable development studies, in the breadth of topics covering economic, social and environmental issues.
The research products must be framed within the areas of interest of the REC, namely: Sustainable Development, Panamazonia, Human Welfare, Water Quality, Education, Democracy and Citizenship, Native Peoples,
Extractivism and Neo-extractivism, Labor Rights and Conflict, Local, National and International Development, gender violence, civil rights.
Objectives
To disseminate research conducted by professors and students of the university and other national and international institutions,
To serve as an organ for the dissemination of research in process or executed that generates knowledge in areas related to the interest of the Centro de Estudios Regionales and science in general.

The publication is published every six months and has the following sections:
