Juvenile delinquency, understood as crimes committed by minors, has undergone significant changes in recent years, including several linked to sociodemographic data, judicial processes and general criminality. The main objective of the investigation was to know the main characterizations of juvenile delinquency in Honduras from the years 2013 to 2020, for this purpose a descriptive study of a comparative documentary type was carried out, taking as references the main databases: Electronic Center for Judicial Documentation and Information (CEDIJ), National Statistics Institute (INE), Online Police Statistical System (SEPOL), all these bases validated and recognized at the country level, the information gathered by means of clearly defined categories among them; sociodemographic data, judicial processes and criminality in relation to juvenile delinquency. The results obtained allowed to identify that during the 8 years of study the greatest variations occurred in those years where new laws were implemented and reformed, as well as the establishment of new governments or change of government which strengthened or weakened some processes associated with juvenile delinquency, some of them sought to decrease while others contributed to the increase in juvenile delinquency for the study years 2013 to 2020.
