ENCYCLICAL LETTER LAUDATO SI 'FROM THE HOLY FATHER FRANCISCO ON TAKING CARE OF THE HOUSE COMMON

Abstract

On May 24, 2015, the second Encyclical Letter of His Holiness Pope Francis, Laudato si ', was released. The Encyclical Letter addresses the question of "caring for our common home" in six chapters, also making use of two prayers, opening and closing, respectively, to consolidate the pontifical proposal. The first chapter refers to "What is happening in our house." The second speaks of the "Gospel of creation", establishing the biblical bases of what it is intended to treat. The third chapter, for its part, presents "The human root of the ecological crisis." In the fourth, the proposal for an "Integral Ecology" is advanced. For his part, in the fifth chapter the Holy Father offers "Some lines of orientation and action." Finally, the sixth chapter is a proposal for "Ecological Education and Spirituality."
