In today's dynamic business environment, an organization's ability to adapt, learn, and evolve is fundamental to its long-term sustainability and success. The concept of Intelligent Organizations (IO), championed by Senge (1990), underscores the importance of systems thinking, personal mastery, shared mental models, a common vision, and team learning as pillars for organizational development. This article is part of an exercise that seeks to explore the practical application of these theoretical foundations in the Latin American context, using Venezuela as a case study. The main objective of this research is to identify and analyze the implementation of specific IO practices in a sample of three Venezuelan companies—Banplus, Zoom, and Telefónica Venezuela (Movistar)—through a qualitative analysis of their communication management in the press rooms of their institutional websites. The exploratory study, based on news published during 2024, confirmed the presence of Open Innovation (OI) characteristics, indicating an initial adoption trend with an emphasis on technology, a multi-stakeholder approach, resilience, and profitability. The findings generate conclusions and strategic recommendations to strengthen the culture of continuous learning and optimize internal processes.
