Writing the introduction to a new issue of our journal, after years of publishing in Venezuela and Latin America, is an exercise in faith in the power of words. Reaching issue number 49 is not merely a chronological milestone; it is a testament to an academic community that, despite the vicissitudes of the present, insists that Philosophy is the quintessential tool for unveiling. In this edition, the reader will discover a diverse collection that includes an essay of ontological depth that sparks debate in the legal field, six research papers, and a presentation. Together, these texts outline the central themes of our time: justice, digital humanism, memory, political economy, technology, and identity. This issue offers diverse theoretical and methodological approaches that showcase the variety and richness of philosophical work.
