Transhumanism, technology and communication, in the emergence of the knowledge society

Abstract

In this text, author reviews the topic of transhumanism and how many concerns to social communication, for which reviews the conception of technology from the ontologies and epistemologies that constitute the traditions within the field of studies, formulating three questions for the consideration of the theme: The human aspect of communication, the debate on technological theology and a century of paradigmatic change made possible by the technology of singularity, issues reviewed through a comparative reading of Ray Kurzweil, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin SJ and Roberto Mangabeira Unger.
