In an increasingly globalized world, logistics and the efficient management of resources have become highly complex and dynamic processes, especially in business and industrial sectors, where the optimization of decisions for problems such as goods transportation, facility location, and resource allocation are key to ensure operational success. However, thanks to advances in operations research, there are now various tools and techniques to address these challenges effectively, such as mathematical models and optimization algorithms. This research work aims to analyze and model mathematically the transportation, location, and resource allocation problem, both under certainty and uncertainty. To achieve this objective, a comprehensive methodological approach was carried out, including a series of literature reviews and formulations of mathematical optimization models, as well as the development of two application cases through the use of computational tools to demonstrate practical examples of the problem.
