Abstract

Abstract

From a survey conducted by the Research and Training Humanistic Center of the Andres Bello Catholic University to 3,384 students from that institution in 2006, we attempted to determine if religion inuences the value preferences of them. Were taken as reference two dimensions in which the values were gathered according to this research: the moral values and conservative values. The results indicate that religion does not operate as a principal cause in high appreciation students have for these values.
