Proyecto CD-ROM para el Archivo Fotográfico Shell

Resumen

El CIC creó una base d edatos referencial del archivo fotográfico que perteneció a Shell de Venezuela. 16.606 fotografías realizadas por grandes fotógrafos del país retratan la historia de la cotidianidad venezolana de los años 50. Se presentan los procesos de catalogación, clasificación y automatización del archivo así como las características de la aplicación multimedia en CD-ROM que se está desarrollando para lograr una difusión importante del contenido del archivo.

Abstrac

The CIC has created a referentianl data base of the photographic collection thet belonged to the Shell of Venezuela. 16.606 photos made by very important photographers of the country show the venezuelan day-to-day life of the 50s. The process of cataloguing, classification and automation of this file, as well as the characteristics of a CD-ROM multimedia application actually in progress, are there commented.
