Abstract
Project development is one of the main activities in any organization, and in companies in the weighing sector it is no exception. These companies currently work with modern scales, having to integrate service, systems and sales teams. Communications between team members, roles and the definition of tasks are often a source of conflict; For this reason, in this research product of a master's degree work, a model was designed for the management of information systems projects in this sector. The specific objectives are to identify the needs and problems that arise in information systems projects, applying surveys and unstructured interviews in the departments involved (sales, services, systems and management). Then the phases of the project life cycle are defined, the actors were identified, and the processes were adapted to the best agile methodologies applicable in information systems projects in the weighing sector. Finally, through questionnaires and the expert judgment technique, the technical feasibility of the created model was evaluated, giving companies in the weighing sector the opportunity to implement it.
