In the present work, a management system based on the measurement of temperature and humidity is presented, with a forecast calculation of the durability of the materials in the sub-basement of houses in the southern region of the USA. Which , was developed in order to control the temperature and humidity in the sub-basements, preventing the creation of fungi that affect humans, in addition to reducing energy expenditure, as a result of the consumption of the equipment that is used as a solution to said problem. .
This system is capable of managing temperature and humidity data, obtained from a measurement using sensors, to monitor the levels in the basement at a given time. According to the data obtained, the activation or deactivation of the equipment that is used to help in the process of leveling the temperature and humidity is carried out, using a control device in order to maintain normal levels of the environment, and thus avoid the fungal incubation and excessive electrical energy consumption in homes in the southern part of the United States.
The methodological procedures followed are based on Evolutionary Prototyping, which consists of the construction of a series of successive versions of a product. In this model, a partial version of the system is built, to then obtain feedback based on the tests and improvements of the product, repeating this process indefinitely until obtaining a version that meets all the requirements.
For the development of this system, the Java language was used, applying Frameworks such as: Hibernate, Spring, Quartz; also design patterns such as: DAO, Singleton, Factory; which allowed us to obtain a modular, flexible and scalable application that monitors and controls temperature and humidity values in the sub-basement of houses.
