Abstract
The main objective of the subject “Programming 1” is for students to develop skills in the analysis, design and construction of programs coded in a high-level programming language, to solve problems. In that sense, it is necessary for students to develop logical reasoning, which has been detected as a weakness of the majority of students in recent semesters, therefore, the game Millionaire in C is proposed as a means to stimulate logical reasoning from the beginning of the subject. In this research, the results of the experiment carried out to determine the effectiveness of the proposal are presented, which was applied to the students of the A-2018 semester. The results obtained show that the game Millionaire in C has a positive impact on the students' logical reasoning.
