Currently, social and environmental crises have directly and indirectly impacted Latin American countries, and their scope and depth have left deep ecological footprints on the planet. In this aspect, we observe the role that Banking has played in this region and especially in Venezuela, which has experienced two major financial crises in recent years, one in 1994 and the most recent in 2010. In this sense, for the first it was argued that the free development of the system with little government participation caused such a crisis, which for the last 7 years has sought to have greater participation of the State in financial operations through public policies, which In the end, it only reflects positive numbers in terms of leverage to all economic sectors of the Nation. However, when we analyze the remuneration of such monetary injection to these sectors: agricultural, manufacturing, tourism, microfinance and mortgage; There is a very small contribution from the funded projects towards citizens and towards our planet.
