EDiM: Ecosistema Digital Multimedia Plataforma Novedosa de Colaboración y Compartimiento

Abstract

Information in the form of data
multimedia, currently dominates the
exchange of information on the Internet,
particularly through social networks.
Each Internet actor (individuals, companies,
territorial communities, etc.) becomes
producer and consumer of such content.
However, networking platforms
social networks present limitations with respect to
to control the exchange of data, to
centralized control, lack of privacy,
poor interoperability and definition of
relationships through linked data (data
linkage). In previous works we presented the

EDiM architecture design, a
Digital ecosystem for the management of
Multimedia content and processing, such as
a new environment of collaboration and
content sharing, applications
multimedia processing,
computing and storage capacity,
based on peer-to-peer infrastructure and
Semantic Web techniques. In this article
We describe progress in implementation
of the main components of EDiM,
including the ontology that defines the
elements of the digital ecosystem as the basis
to manage knowledge and
implementation for a mobile platform.
