An unplanned approach to the thought and work of Rómulo Betancourt around the social relations of work could lead to a link between the political party (in this case, Acción Democrática) and unions promoted by the forementioned political actor. However, a calm look of the thought and work of Betancourt allows understanding his ideas as determinant factors of the organizational development and the democratic evolution of the actors in the social relations of work as well as the drive towards the development of an industrial context that would serve as the foundation and condition to the above.

That said, and with the intention to approach the proposed analysis, four key aspects are considered here as a starting point for an investigation leading to its scientific demonstration. Namely: the foundations, the criteria, strategy and tactics, and communication of results.

When I talk about the foundations, I mean the historicist perception of the socio-historical reality and not theoretical that Romulo Betancourt developed from a reality with which he would have to interact (space-time). In turn, the criteria have been proposed to understand the critical application of humanist Marxism that can be appreciated from his sources. In terms of the strategy and tactic, the intention was to study the critical confrontation of Leninism (as a theory of power) with both the historically perceived reality and the politically confronted reality. Finally, communication of results refers to the possibility of stating clues and finds that will lead, within the framework of an investigation, to raise, as a scientific hypothesis, the assumption that the thought and work of Romulo Betancourt were determining factors of the organizational development and the democratic evolution of the actors in the social relations of work in Venezuela.
