A relationship is established between Venezuela’s geography, history, economy, and natural resources within the context of an integrated interpretation of economic geography. Drawing upon fundamental concepts of human geography and economic geography, this study traverses Venezuelan time and geographic space to explain spatial operations based on geographic diversity and regional. Furthermore, it identifies the country’s territorial potential and notes that the 2009 World Development Report by the World Bank offers a New Economic Geography approach. This framework guides the identification of geographic patterns and the recognition of development options arising from a comprehensive understanding of Venezuela’s geography.
