This special issue of Lógoi offers a current, critical, and hopeful perspective on contemporary environmental challenges and sustainable development from the perspectives of philosophy, law, theology, and emerging epistemologies. The journal is part of the research lines of the Andrés Bello Catholic University, especially those that address the identification, analysis, and evaluation of environmental issues from an interdisciplinary perspective, as well as a line of research aimed at reviewing fundamental ethical and political concepts to rethink contemporary problems.
This issue constitutes a critical invitation to ethically consider the future of the planet, articulating knowledge, practices, and policies oriented toward caring for our Common Home from a philosophy committed to life. In this spirit, we reaffirm our academic commitment to the design of inclusive, intercultural, and socio-environmental equity-sensitive regulatory frameworks. By offering an updated set of reflections and proposals, our aim is to contribute to safeguarding humanity's common and universal goods, inspiring a comprehensive environmental justice capable of responding to the ethical challenges of the present.
