This issue is dedicated to examining various philosophical problems of modernity. Beyond representing a radical break with medieval discussions, the value of this era lies in its capacity to formulate new questions that resonate with us to this day. The concern with granting a new position to the individual, both in the world and in the way of living within it, constitutes one of the fundamental axes of modern thought. This modern individual, who seeks to know, transform, govern, and relate to others, diminishes the role of divine intervention in order to focus on themselves, leaving behind their state of immaturity. In this sense, modernity establishes the individual as an autonomous being who, from within themselves, redefines and reconfigures the spheres of human action. This shift leads to abandoning old paradigms and invites us to consider new ways of understanding reality.
