Human Talent Management (HTM) Practices in Venezuela: Contributions from UCAB-Mercer 2023-2024 Research

The research conducted by the partnership between Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) and Mercer Venezuela on Human Talent Management (HTM) practices in Venezuelan companies was carried out in its first and second edition between 2023 and 2024, respectively. The team was made up of professors and consultants from UCAB and Mercer Venezuela. The data collection format was virtual, using Qualtrics as a technological tool licensed by Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) that contemplates high standards of confidentiality and information security. This article presents a synthesis of the results of both editions, integrating the perspectives of the event “MetAImorphosis” held in Florida-USA in May 2024 by Mercer and Mercer Marsh Benefits, where challenges and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) were explored, including existing trends and possibilities for the future of work, such as: cost reduction, productivity rewards and employee training.
