Durante varios años los estudiantes de las cátedras Matemáticas Generalesy Cálculo I han desarrollado investigaciones sobre ∏ y sus implicaciones en varias ramas del conocimiento científico como la física, la química y la historia de la matemáticas. Estas Investigaciones se han destinado a facilitar el acceso y comprensión de ∏ como una constante universal, a partir de la experimentación como medio de descubrimiento y estudio, y han convertido a los profesores en espectadores de primer nivel y a los estudiantes, futuros profesores, en guías de un mundo diferente, nuevo, mágico y sobre todo accesible. Apoyados en la experimentación como forma de aprender matemáticas haciendo, aprender matemáticas construyendo.

Knowing ∏ An excuse to learn

Abstract

For several years students of General Mathematics and Calculus have developedresearches on ∏ and its implications in several branches of scientific knowledgeas physics, chemistry and history of mathematics. These investigations are intended to facilitate access and understanding on ∏ as a universal constant, from the experiment as a means of discovery and study, and teachers have turned into first-level spectators and students, as future teachers, into guides in a different, new, magic and, above all accessible, world. Supported in the experimentation like form of learning mathematics making, to learn mathematics building
