Metrics and Bibliometric Analysis

Lógoi. Revista de Filosofía employs various mechanisms for monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the impact of its publications:

1. Academic Visibility and Impact (Citation Metrics)

The journal utilizes global platforms to track citations and presence in scientific networks:

  • Scilit (Scientific Literature): A real-time indexing platform that monitors the dissemination of our articles and their integration into the global scientific literature managed by MDPI.

  • Google Scholar: Tracking of citations and calculation of the publication's h-index, providing a clear view of our authors' impact within the academic community.

2. Web Analytics (Audience Metrics)

To measure the reach and behavior of our readers, we use:

  • Google Analytics: A tool that provides aggregated information regarding audience demographics, geographic origin of readers, and navigation behavior within the OJS portal. This allows us to optimize the user experience and understand our global dissemination reach.

3. OJS Internal Statistics (Download Metrics)

The journal provides transparent data on PDF file downloads and abstract views for each article, which are publicly available on each publication's individual page.
