Testimonios de lexicógrafos. Un texto inédito de Pedro Pablo Barnola sobre los glosarios de Lisandro Alvarado

Abstract

This study stresses the testimony analysis about the performance
of the lexicografs in the recostruccion of the history of
discipline. To this purpose an unpublished text is submit ed,
about the meaning of the glosarles of Lisandro Alvarado,
written by Pedro Pablo Bamola, aligning them in terms of
what his personal library suggests about linguistics contexts.
This allows at the same time a reconnaissence tour through
sorne of the key figures in the Hispano-american and
Venezuelan lexicography.
