This article offers a panoramic view of the main problems that
took place in the Venezuelan land borders in the late eighties.
Regarding that these are graverand less sol va ble each day, due
to the position of postponing the given solutions; and to the
fact that they are of such dimension that they could hardly be
solved in onc single administration, the author develops the
generic roots of these problems, to difference them in the
various border areas, within the following outline:
