Francisco Javier Pérez

Retired Professor of the Andrés Bello Catholic University (Caracas, Venezuela). individual of Number of the Venezuelan Academy of Language, of which he was its president in two terms. Individual of Number of the Academy of the History of the Miranda State (Los Teques, Miranda State). Corresponding member of the Royal Spanish Academy and of the language academies of Panama, Cuba, Chile, Uruguay, Guatemala and the United States. Honorary member of the Colombian Academy of Language. Numerary of the Institute of Canarian Studies (La Laguna, Tenerife). Current Secretary General of the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (Madrid).
