Abstract

Three of the myths attributed to Jesuits and Freemasons are analyzed through a detailed bibliographical study.
1) the myth of the Jesuits infiltrated in Freemasonry. 2) the myth of the secret that surrounds freemasons and
jesuits. 3) the myth of the Masonic-Jesuit revolutionary plot.

José A Ferrer Benimeli

Master of arts. Zaragoza's University. Doctor of Philosophy and Letters. Member of the Royal Academy of History in Zaragoza Spain. Specialist in the study of the History of Freemasonry. More than 60 publications on Freemasonry. Presented under the title La Franc-maçonnerie et les Jésuites, secret du mythe, mythe du secret at the Colloquium Secret et Transparence maçonniques held on March 22-23, 2002 at the Institut d'Études des Religions et de la Laïcité, of the Free University of Brussels. It was published in Le Pavé Mosaïque [Revue d'études maçonniques], Paris, 1 (2003) 89-1416.
