Books of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking Jesuits of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Natural Sciences in Modern Times, 1814-2015

A list of 410 science books published between 1814 and 2015 by 131 Spanish and Portuguese-speaking Jesuits is
presented. The books are separated into four groups: (1) mathematics, (2) physics and chemistry, (3) biology and
anthropology, (4) astronomy and earth science. The books belong to different types: primary (A), secondary (B)
and university (C) textbooks, research topic books (D), science popularization books (E), and books on the
relationship between science and philosophy and theology (F). The lists are presented in appendices 1 to 4 and a
list of authors in appendix 5. The list of books provides an overview of the scientific work of these Jesuits in
modern times and their distribution over time.
