Culture as a tool for tourism development

Abstract

Culture is evolution, it is creation, it is transformation, elevation of the human condition and must lead to happiness and enjoyment of life. I have been working in the field of culture for approximately 40 years, as a theater director, as a visual artist, as a craftsman, as a doll maker, as a puppeteer, among other activities. I am moving to a broader, larger area, which is the area of ​​creation in society. That is, not only painting a painting for my private enjoyment but building a painting with the participation of everyone. That's why we do murals and plays. I have had many opportunities to participate in various activities, such as in the founding of a work called the Cristo del Orinoco, which was declared cultural heritage of the country, that happened because once I was going in front of the Orinoco River and I observed in front to the river on the stones, an imagination came to me and from one I crossed and said: “Let's represent the life of Jesus here.”
