Abstract

Well, first of all, very delighted to be here and, well, thank you very much for allowing me to share a bit of our vision of the Venezuelan environment, and the most important part was developed by José Antonio in depth. I just wanted to give some nuances on the subject, specifically economics. What are we waiting for to date?

To be able to make that first projection and build the scenarios a bit, it is worth understanding what is here today, it is obvious that we have a crisis, it is so obvious that 69.5% of the population feels that the economic and political situation of the country is negative. So there is no debate about whether we are in crisis or not. There may be a debate about who is responsible, but there is a crisis.

Well, this crisis is evident in most fundamental economic indicators. We are talking about the highest inflation in the world at this time, 59.4% accumulated inflation and that is because the Central Bank has not published the data for April, which we all know is 5.7% and that it is going to accumulate 62%. in 12 months at the time of publication.
