Abstract

Without further ado, I would like to thank the kind invitation given by the Andrés Bello Catholic University, the friends from over there in Guayana, and congratulate them for this new realization of this important forum.
I would like to begin by pointing out that I fully share what Ronald stated, in the sense that it is essential to think about things from the territory, and in this case from Guayana, however I cannot fail to consider the fact that due to its territorial dimensions, but also, because of what is found there in terms of biodiversity, in terms of natural heritage, in terms of the ecological dynamics that already exist and that are fundamental, of hydrography, and are fundamental not only for Guayana, but for the rest of the territory, because we remember that there is an interconnection, with processes that occur beyond borders that are often, in most cases, artificial.
