OPENING WORDS
Abstract
Thank you very much Father Arturo for this welcome and if simply remembering that the Catholic University is here and part of our management philosophy is centered on the fact that the center of the university is outside of it and in this twentieth Sustainable Guayana Forum what we want it is precisely to make this idea alive: the center of the university is outside of it, that is why we continue to propose options for the future every day, not only for the city but for the Guayana region, understanding the Guayana region as far beyond three states that comprise it.
Welcome back to this twentieth Sustainable Guayana Forum whose objective is to outline the guidelines and keys for a sustainable development plan for the Guayana region. Today, Thursday, we are going to be working with what we have called the history that makes us what we are, and in this sense we will have three central presentations.
