Abstract

Stimulating digital competencies is relevant within the context of education, but not only, as their stimulation embodies overall progressiveness in societies, nevertheless, do the current conditions of Venezuela not constitute a favorable context for their development. Through a documentary research, we analyze the psychosocial conditions of Venezuelans to develop digital competencies, trying to generate an innovative proposal based on resilience. Resilience is understood as a multidimensional construct that involves efficient problem-solving behaviors, control assessment, self-esteem and values. By assessing the level of resilience of Venezuelans, it will be possible to evaluate how their mental health has been affected by the reality that they have experienced in recent years, along the skills that might have been compromised the most and that could consequently pose greater difficulties for the acquisition and development of digital competencies
